On 04/01, at approximately 1PM, there was an armed robbery of the MS&K Confectionary store at 745 Prospect St in Maplewood, NJ. A male suspect entered the variety store, produced a handgun and demanded the store keeper open the register. Shortly thereafter, a struggle ensued and the storekeeper was shot once in the torso. The actor then fled the store on foot. The actor is now believed to be a medium to light skinned African American or Hispanic male. It is believed that he is heavy set, possibly with a muscular build, wearing either a mustache or goatee and between 6’ and 6’3” tall. It is also believed that the male is in his late 30’s or 40’s.
