To be considered for the Unit, an applicant must be:

- US Citizen

- At least 18 Years of Age

- In Good Physical and Mental Health

- Free from any Police/ Criminal Record

- Possess a valid NJ Driver's License

- Reside Within 5 Miles of Maplewood, in a Town Without an Active Auxiliary Unit
